Moose Jaw In Round Two

The Warriors defeated the Pats 5-2 Friday night to take their series in 5 games. The Warriors received scoring and contributions up and down their lineup, including upstart 15 year old Brayden Point who potted 3 goals in 5 games.

Their was an article before the playoffs started about Moose Jaw's injured Defenceman Morgan Riley possibly returning to their lineup for game 5, however he wasn't dressed. Their is a post on whlfans saying that he was confirmed to not be playing in the first round and he was still listed as week to week, as the doctor didn't clear him to play.

Riley is a projected top 10 draft pick for this years NHL entry Draft.

The Warriors, like the blades have a physical back-end however they will be a lot healthier. Moose Jaw has a ton of depth up front and one of the Hat's fan favorite's in the ever lovable Cody Beach.

During the regular season Moose Jaw's Home record was down right dominating with only 3 regulation losses, their road record surprisingly was a game below .500.

The Tigers will start the series on the road in Moose Jaw and face a tough task at trying to wrestle away a win or two in a building in which Moose Jaw has dominated in.

Every game during the regular season between these two teams were outright wars. With Moose Jaw making a couple trades for the playoffs and them being the #2 seed I think the Tigers will be considered under-dogs for the series. I was hoping for this series to develop as I think it will be a highly entertaining and nail-biting series.

Moose Jaw 3 Tigers 2
Tigers 6 Moose Jaw 3
Moose Jaw 6 Tigers 0
Tigers 6 Moose Jaw 0

MOOSE JAW (2) vs. MEDICINE HAT (4)
(Series J)

Game 1 - Fri Apr 6 7:00 PM Medicine Hat at Moose Jaw
Game 2 - Sat Apr 7 7:00 PM Medicine Hat at Moose Jaw
Game 3 - Tues Apr 10 7:00 PM Moose Jaw at Medicine Hat
Game 4 - Wed Apr 11 7:00 PM Moose Jaw at Medicine Hat
Game 5 - Fri Apr 13 7:00 PM Medicine Hat at Moose Jaw
Game 6 - Sun Apr 15 6:00 PM Moose Jaw at Medicine Hat
Game 7 - Tues Apr 17 7:00 PM Medicine Hat at Moose Jaw

For the Tigers Kale Kessy, Jayden Hart and Rhyse Dieno, Gavin Broadhead are out with injuries. Dieno being the only one that will indeed not return this series.

It was a bit confusing from the MH news article as to whether they were going to be ready to go or not.

Tabbies Enjoy Rest

"I think that we are hopeful with all three," said Clouston. "I think there would be a good chance we would see one of them, but probably not all three.
"I think that there will be a good chance that those guys will be ready to go."

ya got to love when the trash talk is on a fan blog. Spineless?
Looks to me that the warriors lack the balls to bring it and walk the talk. Face to face, on ice!
It's going to be a good series, and tigers can rest bunz as Tigers back-up has shut down warriors.
I own roosters that crow better then this. And much tougher.
Unleash the beast.

What's your prediction Tigerfan for the series?
Tigers in six is my prediction, providing we don't lose and key dmen. Bunz often gets all the credit, but their are some pretty darn gooddmen in front of him. Who never get their due.
Etem and Shinkaruk need Grbavac and Valk to contribute big time to deflect some of the Warrior attention from them.
We have an opportunity to seize a game or two in their barn. Hopefully, we get on it right away with the Warriors. We can't sit back and wait for one or two players to producein this series,IF we are to be successful.
